Big blue eyes. Who ever thought Brad and I would have a blue eyed kid. I was sure she would have brown. We will have to wait and see if they stay. They are such a beautiful navy blue right now. I hope they stay just as they are!

Grandma Kim and Papa Don came to visit when Payten was three weeks old.

Brad usually gets up several hours before he has to go to work to get his game time in. Payten hangs out with him sometimes to let me get some extra rest.

All buckled up to go home. We had to stay two nights in the hospital since she was born late on Wednesday. Brad was fit to be tied to get out of there. I tried to explain the discharge process is ALWAYS a slow one since I see it at work daily but he still paced the floors.

37 Week Belly Pics

Here I am at 37 weeks. The doc says she doesn't want me to go past 40 weeks so if little baby Webb doesn't arrive by the 7th per the doc I will be induced the 7th, 8th, or 9th. Last week she weighed in at 5 lbs. I am going to the labor and delivery floor once a week to get NST (non stress tests) to measure babies heart rate and I get a weekly ultrasound to monitor her growth rate. She is now in the 11% for size and gained 1 lb in 2 weeks. Last time the doctor checked I was 2 cm dilated. I go back to the doc Thursday and we will see if anything has changed. Looks like baby Webb will be a little peanut otherwise everything else is checking out ok. Yes, Brad and I have not decided on a name. It is a topic of conversation everyday...we just can't decide.

Good news the lazy boy recliner is in and we get to pick it up Friday!!!

We can't believe that we will be parents in 2 weeks or less!!!

Baby Shower #2

Here are just a few of the cute little dresses I got from my "work" baby shower.

The Boswell Crew. Daniela and Amie threw the shower for me a Daniela's home. It was perfect!!! I got home from the shower and was sooo excited to show all the gifts to Brad. He wasn't as excited as I was and said "Ash can't we just look at these when we put them away?" I insisted that he stand there and at least look at some of the cute little outfits and he did JUST to please me.

Baby Showers

I was very luck...I received two hand made quilts. The top quilt was quilted by Brad's Aunt Franceen and the bottom one was quilted by my "almost sister-in-law" Robin. Aunt Tami was nice enough to throw me a great baby shower back home in Farmington. Mom and Dad are making the drive here to AZ to drop off all the gifts this weekend since I flew home for the shower.

Brad and I stopped to take a pic. I can't believe I hiked at 34 weeks and then again the next week. I hope to get in one more hike before baby webb arrives but I am running out of time!!!

Ashley came to visit us from Dever for a week. We had great weather and she was able to hike almost everyday she was here.

Mallory was taking a rest in the shade. We recently got some rain so there was much more green brush and wild flowers along the hike than normal.

Wow, this is a crazy sight....I am looking pregnant for sure!

Here I am at 33 weeks. Only 7 more to go. Brad and I start L&D classes next week. It is starting to feel real that we will have a new little one real soon. I started calling daycare centers today and set up my first appointments for Wednesday. I'm really nervous but know I will feel much better after I start looking. Wish me luck!

Baby Webb Nursery

This is the nursery after a long weekend of hard work. Brad and I couldn't have done it with out the help of mom and dad.

Mom and I worked on putting this dresser together for about 4 hours and I could hardly get off the floor afterwards.

We don't have anything on the walls yet. Everything in the stores seems to be girly pink and as you can see there is no pink in this room.

Mom and dad are putting the final drawers together for the baby dresser. Dad was smart and used the drill. Mom and I hand screwed all the screws the night before.

This is a before picture of the nursery. We moved the bed into the office and took down the dog crate. Dad painted over the blue wall to match the rest of the room. We decided not to paint the room a color and kept it simple. We ordered a light green lazy boy chair to go in the corner of the nursery which will brighten it up.

29 weeks and 5 days
I had to post three belly pics since my sister had to wait sooo long for these.

I went for my second ultrasound last friday. The doctor had been measuring me on the small end of normal and wanted to make sure the baby was growing. The baby looked good during the ultrasound-- just looks like I will be having a small baby....that is ok with me. Brad was there and loved seeing the baby kick around.

I took pics of the areas of the house that Brad and I have to organize before the baby comes. This is our office desk that has seen better days. Brad isn't so good at throwing things away so I have to supervise when he helps.

This is a before pic of the soon to be baby room. It has been Mallorys room the last three years. She is in for a big change. We are going to move the bed into the office and take down the dog crate. The last month or so we have left Mallory in the house and she hasn't torn up a thing....yet.

This is the office closet. We have to some how fit all this junk and the junk from the guest closet into it.

Where the books sit is where the guest bed needs to be. I had a hard time parting with all my grad school notes and books but after a days work I think I have narrowed it down to what I REALLY need.

I go to the doctor tomorrow for my monthly appointment. I have been feeling the baby move almost on a daily basis now. It is starting to sink in that we are having a baby girl!

Hiking the White Tank Mountains

Towards the end of the hike Mallory tends to find every inch of shade. Here she is resting while we let other hikers by.

Here is a view of the West Valley from the top.

The weather was beautiful about 80 but a little hot for Mallory so we turned around early. I can really tell my endurance is not as it was before pregnancy.

We usually let Mallory off the leash and she stays only a few feet ahead and every so often turns to wait for us. Along the way we hear lots of funny comments "You could ride that thing when you get tired" or "That's a big dog".

Mom and Dad came to town for the weekend and Grandma Kim brought baby gifts. She found the greatest diaper bag ever and a couple blankets and towels. I see a green/brown theme coming. I still haven't bought anything...I feel like a need to wait another month or so.

This is a belly shot at 17 weeks. My co-workers are beginning to tell I'm pregnant. Brad and I go for an ultrasound friday and hopefully we will find out whether it is a boy or girl!

trip to Santa Fe

This is little miss Rees. She was a trooper the whole weekend as us girls enjoyed oldtown Santa Fe.

Amie and I flew to Santa Fe, NM last weekend to see my sister and her family. They live in a beautiful house near the mountains outside Santa Fe. We enjoyed checking out historic downtown and I enjoyed one of the best virgin mojitos as the girls enjoyed their wine. Autumn was nice enough to share some of her maturnity tops with me. I haven't had to break them out yet but I know that day is coming. Thankfully all my clothes still fit comfortably.

11 weeks and feeling bloated

Friends and family have been telling me to take pics and I have been procrastinating...so here is the first. It took Brad three tries till he got one I liked.

It all started with the 'Sex and the City Movie'. My friend and I went to see the movie and when I got home poor Brad was taken away from 'game night' to have some one on one time with me if you know what I mean. A few weeks later we went to Farmington for my b-day and Brad had told my mom he thought I was pregnant....he didn't tell me till the drive home. We got home around 9 that night and I took the test and it was POSITIVE. I didn't believe it and took two more just to make sure.
